Privacy issues have become a priority to many of our investigation clients. We have acted as counsel and successfully negotiated with Industry Canada the “Investigative Body” designation pursuant to the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act on behalf of the Canadian Association of Private Investigators, the Canadian Independent Adjusters Association and the Canadian Association of Special Investigation Units.

We are currently assisting other organizations such as the Canadian Health Care Anti-Fraud Association with PIPEDA related matters. We have responded to privacy complaints to the Privacy Commissioner of Canada on behalf of various investigation companies.
